Welcome to the Board of Disney, where the fantasies of millions of children around the world are created and kept alive! The Disney Board of Directors in 1966 comprises a diverse group of seasoned leaders from various industries, united to steer The Walt Disney Company through a rapidly evolving media landscape. As custodians of Disney's strategic vision, this committee will attempt to address key issues such as the integration of 21st Century Fox assets, enhancing Disney's streaming services like Disney+, and maintaining a competitive edge in content creation. Additionally, discussions may include expanding Disney's global market presence, leveraging technological advancements, and upholding the company's legacy of innovation and storytelling while ensuring sustainable and responsible business practices.

 

Hi all!

My name is Liv Serio, a sophomore at Harvard studying Government, and I am excited to welcome you all to the Disney Board of Directors! For my Model United Nations experience, I am currently a member of Harvard’s competitive travel team ICMUN, as well as have staffed HMUN and HNMUN last year. 

The Disney Board of Directors is facing its worst crisis yet, and I cannot wait to see how you plan to tackle it! It will be up to you all to tackle the various challenges that you will face throughout our weekend of debate. I am excited to be directing this year's Novice Committee for Harvard Model United Nations 2025; this committee is open to delegates with minimal experience in crisis committees, and it will be a safe space for discussion and problem-solving. Please do not be afraid to ask questions throughout our weekend of debate; I am excited to help each delegate become confident in the setting of a crisis committee!

That being said, I wish you all the best in your preparations for the conference. As you get ready to walk into our first committee session, do not forget this one thing: it really is a great, big, beautiful tomorrow!

Dear delegates,

It is my pleasure to be your Crisis Director for the Disney Board of Directors!

My name is Jahir Tineo and I am a sophomore in Quincy House studying government with a secondary in economics. I am a proud Massachusetts resident who enjoys bike riding through nature. Jahir is an aspiring poet and avid tennis player. You’ll always find me blasting R&B and Rap music like Drake and Jcole. On campus, I am part of numerous organizations like Intercollegiate Model United Nations, International Relations Council where I serve as the clerk. In addition, I am passionate about political reform and civil rights activism. 

This committee will be for the inexperienced, and it will be a thrilling experience! Our agenda, and the backroom is already packed with interesting ideas and obstacles that will be thrown at you, and I look forward to watching your plans of chaos be executed.
